Martin Danaher

Principal Investigator, Irish Grass-fed Dairy
Dr Martin Danaher (BSc, PhD) is a principal investigator with Food for Health Ireland whose work focuses on the detailed analysis of pasture fed produce. He is currently head of an ISO17025 laboratory which is accredited by the Irish National Accreditation Board. The laboratory provides a service to the Irish food industry. It is also a national reference laboratory (NRL) for food analysis. As part of this work he has been involved in the transfer of several analytical methods from research projects to the reference laboratory at Teagasc. This laboratory has an annual budget of €960,000 based on client income.
