Researcher, Cheese
Clare Gollogly is currently working as a research assistant for Food for Health Ireland, working on the Whole Milk Powder and Cheese studies. These studies focus on the effects that cheese consumption has on blood cholesterol levels, in particular LDL levels, and explores the possible benefits of consuming whole milk powder derived from grass fed vs grain fed cows by measuring various biomarkers such as circulating fatty acids, vitamins, and markers of inflammation. She is a third year Food and Nutrition student at Ulster University, currently completing her third-year placement with Food for Health Ireland.
